Abstract

An experiment was carried out to study the effect of sowing date on rice seedling quality and yield. The result showed that from 28th March to 20th April, earlier was the sowing date, and better was the seedling quality and higher the grain yield. The sowing dates from 28th March to fifth April are suitable in rice production.
