Abstract
Ru/CeO2/Al2O3 complex oxide catalysts are prepared by the method of impregnation. The catalysts are comprised of three contents: Rγ - Al2O3 as carrier, RuO2 as active component and CeO2 catalytic promoter. Catalytic wet oxidation of phenol solution at high temperature(270 ℃) and high pressure (5.5MPa) is studied. The catalysts show remarkable activity and over 80% of phenol is converted. Among them, the catalyst with Ru: CeO2: Al2O3= 0.6:6:100 exhibits the best catalytic activity and the conversion ratio of phenol stands at 96.1%.
