Abstract
In this article, the effect of C content on the mechanical properties and the corrosion resistance of Fe-B alloys to liquid zinc is investigated. The results show that the new phase Fe3(C,B)is generated with carbon addition, and the structure of the alloy is refined. With the increase of carbon addition, the corrosion rate and bending strength of the alloy decrease, but the hardness increases.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
