The Influence of Structural Semantics to English Vocabulary Teaching

Abstract

Structural lexical semantics is a new branch of modern semantics.It emphasizes componential analysis and implicational lexical relations.The application of structual lexical semantics in English vocabulary teaching can make students understand the implicational lexical relations,enlarge their vocabulary,arouse their interest in studying English and improve their ability of using language and commumcation.
