Abstract
Tests were designed to the engine noise. The results show that noise rises while the engine speed and the load increase. The impact of engine speed causes noise much apparently compared to load.Noise reduces when the vacuum of intake manifold gets higher.Engine intake noise gives a greatest impact to engine noise level, which is followed by the oil pan and pulleys.Measures for engine noise reduction regarding to different noise source should be provided in order to reduce the machine noise and improve the engine performance.
