Abstract

On the basis of good characteristics of the high-pressure common rail fuel injection system, control strategy had been designed and researched to control fuel injection quantity and common-rail pressure during diesel engine abrupt deceleration. The strategy comprises decrease fuel cutoff, fuel injection again and high-pressure fuel discharge rate control. The test results indicate that engine speed and common rail pressure can be precisely and flexibly controlled to meet the requirements for diesel engines.
