Constructing the system of cultural criticism as an integral whole in foreign literature study

The concept of cultural criticism requires serious recognition and explanation. The article first deals with the essential connotation of cultural criticism, then it puts forward the cultural criticism system which is employed to interpret literary work and its writing behavior. The article points out that in order to make a sufficient revelation of great aesthetic connotation, social value and historical significance of a literary work, we must perceive literary activity as a total cultural phenomenon and study it systemically at different levels and points of view while taking it as an integral part of human culture framework.
