Study Progress of Cathodic Protection Current Shielding of Pipeline Coatings

Abstract

Combination of coatings with cathodic protection is the common measure to protect the pipelines from corrosion.But the shelled coating which has good insolation property may result in the current shielding for cathodic protection.This paper reviews the reasons of cathodic protection shielding of coatings,the forms of cathodic protection shielding,and its harm to the pipelines and the solution for the cathodic protection current shielding.
