Since the South Song Dynasty, scholars have been arguing about the advantages and disadvantages of the poetry of the Tang and Song Dynasties. This thesis makes studies on the different styles and features of the poems of the Tang and Song Dynasties from different angles so as to aim at achieving an objective judgement about the poems.
