Abstract

The scale and the complexity of the network increase continuously and the drawbacks of the traditional network management have become even more obviously.Web-based management shows great vitality by light of its flexibility,ease and cost-effectiveness.It represents the developing direction of the network management.The network management system is implemented which was based on Web technology and supported SNMP protocol.The system drew on the advantages of SNMP,such as simple,easy to use and being widely used.As adopted Web technology,this system was removable and platform-independent.
