Abstract
25 dairy cattle of the similar age, weight, parity, physiological status, milk yield and health status, were divided into 5 groups(control group, experimental group 1,experimental group 2,experimental group 3 and experimental group 4),each group had five cows, for a period of 60 d of the feeding trial. The feed formula of Group 1,group 2,group 3 and group 4 was formulated on the basis of the control group,10%,20%,30% and 40% of alfalfa meal substituting the corresponding concentrate. The results showed that milk yield of group 1,group 2,group 3 and group 4,increased by 5.6%,8.75%,10.82% and 6.54%,respectively,and economic efficiency increased by 11.30%,19.02%,24.74% and 13.20%,respectively,compared with the control group.
