Research progress of fish oil lipid emulsion's clinical application in critically ill patients

Abstract
Through the fish oil fat emulsion literature in recent three years,the application of the fish oil fat emulsion gained wide attention.The ω-3 fatty acids in surgical critically ill patients has made a key role.In clinic,fish oil lipid emulsions may reduce ventilation time,mortality,antibiotic demand,and length of stay.The ω-3 fatty acid has beneficial properties of reduction of inflammatory reaction and immunological modulation.
