Abstract

The sustainable utilization of local water resource system is a complex system composed of multiple indicators in terms of resources, environment, economy and society. In order to reasonably resolve the synthesis of evaluation index between different dimension index and determine the values of evaluation subsystems,a new FA-AHP model is suggested in this study. In the FA-AHP method, composite scores of evaluation subsystems are determined by using factor analysis method, and the weight values of evaluation subsystems are determined by using analytic hierarchy process method based on accelerating genetic algorithm. The application results show that the computation results of FA-AHP are reasonable and objective, and the method is direct and practical.Hence,it is recommended to be widely applied in other multi-index evaluation systems.
