The producing process and method of synthetic seismogram are discussed.The difference bitween synthetic seismogram and seismic section are analyzed.The key points of making synthetic seismogram such as reflection coefficient and wavelet are studied.The controversial issues about synthetic sismogram are discussed and analyzed.Some matters needing attention in producing and calibrating synthetic sesmogram are proposed.
