Effect of Pollinator on Fruit Set and Fruit Quality of Huangguan Pear

The fruits set rate,fruit appearance and inner quality characteristics of different pollination combinations were investigated with 4 pear varieties as pollinator and Huangguan pear as female plant.Results showed that the fruit set rate,fruit shape index,edible ratio,fruit weight,titratable acid and soluble solids content of Huangguan pear pollinated by Dangshansu pear were significant different.Considering all these factors,Dangshansu pear is the best pollinator of Huangguan pear in Jingtai area of Gansu province.
