Abstract
Objective: To explore new approach to cavernous sinus . Methods: 16 sides of cavernous sinus from eight adult cadaveric heads were used for microanatomic dissection. Results: There were two layers of membranes of dural in middle cranial base. The inner layer separated from the connection position between inner and out layer, and made of a space with two layers of lateral wall. Conclusion: From this space cavernous sinus can be opened epidurally.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
