Abstract
The seedlings cultured with Hoagland solution were treated with salicylic acid(SA) 0.3 mmol/L under NaCl 100 and 200 mmol/L stress.The result showed that SA increased the chlorophyll content and the chla/chlb ratio,enhanced SOD and POD activities,inhibited CAT activity,decreased MDA content,O~(-·)_2 accumulation and the leaf relative conductivity.Therefore,the determination of growth and physiology parameters indicated that the antioxidant ability of seedlings was raised,the injuries of seedlings induced by active oxygen was mitigated and the membrane stability was raised with SA under salt stress.The effect of SA on seedlings growth under NaCl 100 mmol/L stress is better than that under NaCl 200 mmol/L stress.
