Abstract

By comparing some general computation methods of critical speed,a practical computation model is presented. On the base of this model, the computation of a drive shaft is taken with the use of the FEM software ANSYS.Compared to the result of the experiment, the computation result is reliable and can be used as the basis of the following research work.
