Abstract

The thermo-power system of Tianyuan Branch Company of CNSIC Haolong Salt and Chemical Co.,Ltd has been running for just two years since it was put into operation,however,the scaling problems have resulted in boiler shutdown for several times,which seriously influences the normal production.The major causes for this phenomenon are the quality of feed water,boiler duty and boiler blowdown.This paper mainly states the imporatance of boiler blowdown,classification of blowdown,and calculation and control of blowdown amount.
