Clinical observation of “Jianwei Decoction”in treating residual gastritis

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Jianwei Decoction the treatment of residual gastritis. Methods Ninety-four subjects were randomized into two groups:treatment group in which 47 cases were treated with Jianwei Decoction,and control group in which 47 cases were treated with Omeprazole Enteric-Coated Capsules and Domperidone Tablets,with a course of three months. The clinical efficacy and gastric mucosa efficacy were observed.Results The overall effective rate for clinical efficacy was 82. 98% in the treatment group and 61. 70% in the control group,with a striking difference between the two groups(P 0. 01); the overall effective rate for gastric mucosa efficacy was 89. 36% in the treatment group and 68. 09% in the control group,with a difference between the two groups(P 0. 05). Conclusion Jianwei Decoctionis effective to improve the clinical symptoms and repair gastric mucosa in residual gastritis.
