Abstract
The anaerobic ammonium oxidation(ANAMMOX)reactor in an upflow blanket filter(UBF).The authors spent 165 days in successfully transited starting up.The ANAMMOX was from the autotrophic denitrification. After the start-up of the ANAMMOX reactor, the volumetric loading rate was up to 0.17kg total nitrogen/(m3.d)with the removal rate of 93% for NH+4-N and 100% for NO2--N,respectively.On this basis, the effluent of nitrification of landfill leachate affecting the mixed ANAMMOX bacteria is investigated. The results indicate that the effluent of nitrification of landfill leachate produced a weak effect of ANAMMOX process. The ammonia and the nitrosation of average inhibition rate are 10.73% and 11.71%,respectively in the low concentration of ammonia of 60mg/L.
