Study on Human Activities in the Process of Land Desertification

This paper briefly reviewed the nature of land and land desertification and noted that human's special requirements on land resulted in the exploitation on land. It was human irrational activities that induced land desertification. This paper analyzed human action and effect in the process of land desertification; and pointed that the land desertification problem is an integrative environment problem. In the end, in the view of human-land relation and fully concerning of human status and initiative in the process of land desertification, presented a few countermeasures to combating desertification.
