Abstract
Few attention has been paid to the Liaoxi Lateral Low Uplift in provenance system analyses due to its small residual area.Using high resolution three dimensional seismic data, through analyses of the combination and contact of faults, vertical displacement and the thickness of strata of the hanging wall and foot wall,synthetic-overlapping and synthetic approaching tectonic transition belts exist in JZ25 area in the Liaoxi Lateral Low Uplift of Liaodongwan Bay area.Based on drilling litho facies, seismic facies, seismic attribute analyses, heavy mineral assemblage of sandstone,ZTR index and composition maturity, three types of sedimentary facies are identifid, including tectonic transition fan delta, steep slope subaqueous fan and peripheral rift fan delta.Combining with strata erosion response of mudstone acoustic time difference. The authors propose that sandbody accumulation depends on mother rock easily being wea-thered,dynamic change of erosion area and efficient provenance path. The tectonic transition fan delta is important for improving the sandbody-lacking status in the relatively small provenance area.
