Abstract

A'Xiu is a love story of rich connotation in Strange Tales of Liao Zhai.Absorbing Liu Yiqing's Mai Fener,the author Pu Songling endows new spirits to old story,and creates some twist plots.Smart and generous,the fox girl A'Xiu is both affectionate and loyal;she fell in love in pursuit of beauty,and became a perfect beauty for her contribution and love.This novel reflects Pu Songling's deep thought on love philosophy influencing by Romanticism.
