Abstract
Objective To observe the long-term toxicity of the Fuzhiling in rats.Methods The healthy SD rats were randomly divided into control group,large-doses group treated with 3g/kg of Fuzhiling and small-doses group treated with 1.5g/kg of Fuzhiling for a successive course of 4 weeks through oral administration.The general state and weight gain of the rats were observed.Routine blood biochemistry tests were performed and pathological changes of tissues were observed.Results There no marked effect in weight gain,periihperal blood and biochemical indexes,pathological changes in tissues and organs were observed in the rats treated with Fuzhiling as compared with that of control group.Conclusion There is no significant toxicity is observed in use of Fuzhiling for treatment of rats four weeks after administration and its maximal tolerance dosages for rats was 1.5g/kg·d-1.
