Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical value of multi-slice spiral CT angiography in the diagnosis of aortic intramural hematoma so as to provide a reliable reference for the diagnosis of the disease in the future. Methods 34 cases of patients with aortic intramural hematoma admitted in our hospital from January, 2010 to December, 2012 were extracted and given multi-slice spiral CT angiography examination. The test results were analyzed retrospectively. Results This group of patients obtained confirmed diagnosis by multi-slice spiral CT angiography examination. Of whom, there were 6 cases of type A, 28 cases of type B; 24 cases of wall calcification shift; aortic intramural hematoma thickness(8.79 ± 3.21) mm, the affected aortic diameter(32.62 ± 6.63)mm; 6 cases with aortic ulcer. Conclusion The multi-slice spiral CT angiography can confirm the diagnosis of aortic intramural hematoma with high accuracy and significant imaging features, which is worthy of attention in clinical practice.
