Abstract

Plasma excitation was used for in-situ synthesis of Ni-Al intermetallic coating. The microstructure and composition of the coating were observed and analyzed with SEM and XRD.The results show that the coating has fine microstructure, when mass percent of Ni powder and Al powder is 1:1,the microstructure of the intermetallic coating is mainly composed of NiAl.Adding reasonable content of Fe to Ni and Al mixed power, the cladding coating is mainly composed of NiAl and Fe3Al.
