Abstract

Objective To explore the value of defecography to the diagnosis and the curative effect evaluation of outlet obstruction constipation. Methods The results of defecography of 42 patients with constipation were compared and analyzed before and after the treatment. Results Before treatment, defecography showed rectocele+internal rectal prolaspe+perineum descending in 12 cases, rectocele + internalrectal prolaspe in 10 cases, internal rectal prolaspe + descending perineum syndrome in 11 cases and rectocele in 9 cases.Six months after treatment, defecography showed that 37 cases were normal. The effective rate was 88.1%.Twelve months later, defecography showed that 30 cases were normal. The effective rate was 71.4%.Conclusion In the diagnosis and the curative effect evaluation of outlet obstruction constipation, the defecography can more accurately diagnose and distinguish functional obstruction, reflect the curative effect and provide a reliable basis for clinic.
