Abstract

As we entered New Period of Literature in the 1980s, studies of approached the core questions of the new poems, and became typically representative of the new poetry studies in terms of perspective and method. This paper attempts to analyze and summarize the studies in three parts: On Hu Shi' s Poems, On Hu Shi' s Poetic Theory, and on Both Studies Between the Old Poetry and the New Poetry as well as at the beginning of the new poetry. These studies, which have gradually surpassed the scope of Hu Shi' s poetry and poetic theory, probe into the increasingly undesirable status and self - help of the new poetry.
