Abstract
[Objective] The aim was to investigate the effect of Bacillus subtilis producing cellulase on the cellulose and soluble sugar content of tobacco leaf.[Method] The tobacco leaves were fermented by the BS-89 strain with cellulase activity, and the effect of inoculum, fermentation time, temperature and different strains of aging on the tobacco cellulose and total soluble sugar was studied.[Results] As the inoculum, fermentation time and temperature increase, tobacco cellulose content showed a significant decreasing trend, total soluble sugar content showed increasing.Different strains of aging also have an impact on the content of total soluble sugar and cellulose, strains cultured for 48 hours have the greatest impact on both content.[Conclusion] The cellulase production strains BS-89 can effectively degrade the cellulose content in tobacco leaves, significantly increase the soluble sugar content.
