Abstract
Liaohe oilfield has been explored and developed for over 40 years, the exploration degree of oil and gas resources is over 50%,and exploration difficulty is increasing. This paper systematically summarizes important exploration achievements and understandings during the eleventh five-year plan period in this oilfield, analyzes future exploration potentials in respects of resources and technology, defines future exploration prospects in Liaohe terrestrial buried hill,stratigraphic-lithologic reservoirs, unconventional gas,as well as Liaohe sea area, outskirts, and newly discovered areas, explicitly indicates key targets of oil and gas exploration for the twelfth five-year plan period, and points out a direction of long-term stable development in Liaohe oilfield.
