Abstract
Modern Chinese economic theory is a brand new discipline being explored,and the sum total of viewpoints,theories and doctrines on economic modernization since the Xinhai Revolution.Research on economic theory and its development lies foremost in the mastery of objective environment and actual basis.Expounding its national-conditions basis is an important theoretical premise for the development of the discipline,and summarizing its environmental characteristics,periodization and basic threads is the basic requirement of the research in the discipline.The basic mission of modern Chinese economic theory is to proceed from China's realities and elaborate on the process,characteristics,conditions and laws of China's modernization in a scientific and concrete manner.
