Abstract
Having studied many earthquake cases in which the geomagnetic low point displacement anomaly occurred, the research results show that ① The shape and spatial distribution of anomalies have evident regional characteristics. The authors divided the anomalies into two types: anomaly in large area in China or in some region. It can also be divided elaborately into six subtypes. ② There is close relation between the geomagnetic low point displacement anomalies and active tectonics zones. The area and the shape of anomalies are relative to the spatial distribution characteristics of active tectonics zones and the strength of the coming earthquakes in the region where anomalies occur.
