On the International Criminal Court's Jurisdiction on the Crime of Terrorism

Abstract

National security is suffering serious threats of terrorism.International community and want to dominate and publish crime of terrorism on international law dimension since traditional means of military attack didn't resolve this problem entirely.According to the Rome of International Criminal Court,the ICC has jurisdiction on genocide,crimes against humanity,war crimes,and crime of aggression.But the Roma does not include crime of terrorism.However,some acts of terrorism can be characterized as crimes against humanity.Therefore,the ICC could assert jurisdiction over these acts of terrorism.On 2009 Review Conference,the crime of terrorism may be included in Rome Statute as one of crimes against humanity.It will attack terrorism crime more efficient in law and alleviate threat of terrorism to national security to greatest extent.
