Abstract

In Middle West-Jin Dynasty,amalgamation of Confucianism and Taoism forms.Scholars begin to long for fame and fortune.It is reflected in artistic creation with the character of taking on the contradicted choice made by scholars between serving the country and living in seclusion. Affected by the thought,scholars want to return to the ancients.
