Abstract
The experiments are carried out for removing and adsorbing the Ammonia Nitrogen of Low Concentration in the Sewage by Modified Zeolite Powder. It is found that the ammonia adsorption capacity of natural zeolite powder can reach the best adsorption(54.77%) as pH of sewage is about 5 and adsorption time is 90 minutes.Natural zeolite powder at 100 ℃ by 0.3mol/L sodium chloride solution works best modification, whereas the ammonia nitrogen removal rate of modified zeolite powder reaches 98.85% and the effect of adsorbed ammonia best at the adsorption time of 60 minutes and pH of 5.Under the the respective optimum conditions, the adsorbed ammonia capacity of the best modified zeolite powder is 1.81 as much as natural zeolite powder.
