Abstract
Objective: To investigate on mental status and quality of life on patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome. Methods: 92 patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome and 44 normal medical examination people were assessed by SCL-90 and SF-36. Results: The SCL-90 total scores and the scores of somatization, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, phobophobia were markedly higher in obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome patients than in the normal medical examination people(P0.05). The scores of each dimensions were lower in obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome patients than in the normal medical examination people (P0.05). Conclusion: Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome patients have a reduced status of mental health and quality of life were obviously descended, so actively directe mental intervention can encourage total rehabilitation on patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome.
