Investigation of Landcape Plants and Its Floristic Analysis of Campus in Hechi University

To build a better eco-campus,and play the important role of plant in landscaping,ecological environment protection,teaching and scientific research,a survey of landscape plants in school garden of Hechi University which located in the northwest of Guangxi had been conducted by using site investigation and literature research.The results showed that there were 430species,which belonged to 117families and 331genera(generic coefficient was 76.98%).The floristic analysis showed the geographical element was complex,the tropical element dominated the whole seed plant spermatophyte,at 62.61% of the families and 61.68%of the genera.The species of landscape plants species in campus was abundant while the native plants applied were not plentiful and the habitats was simple,the species and quantity of the herbs were more than that of the other plants,weakening the landscape plant's regional characteristics and causing some problems in landscape management.So,the landscape design have to be strengthened and improved managerial level and paid more attention to humanity intension of landscape plants.
