Empirical Research on Economic Factors of Rural Young People Accepting Secondary Vocational Education in China

In recent years,China continues to enhance the development of secondary vocational education,but the number of students in has not increased apparently.This paper uses the data of the Statistic Yearbook of China from 1998 to the present and CHNS Data to build a model of factors that affects the secondary vocational education,and studies the effects of opportunity costs and income prediction on the acceptence of secondary vocational education.The conclusion indicates that our country should not only decrease the direct cost of secondary vocational education,but also improve farmer's earnings,develop agriculture rationally,and reduce employment discrimination so as to enhance their ability to pay the expenses of vocational education and increase their expected earnings,this will realize the effectiveness of relevant policies.
