Abstract

Before the appearance of the biography of Song Weizi in Historical Records,the same subjects are plotted in two different forms: tragedy and satire.Sima Qian chose to use the tragedy form in dealing with this subject.This choice has a special academic background and it also reflects a historian's understanding of survival.The connotation of Sima Qian's tradegy sense reflects the final reconciliation of Marx's so-called the mystery of history which is anticipated by the ancient scholars.
