Abstract

The market exists in a way of systematical self - organization. The market economy has the characteristics of being free, subjective, creative and ethical. The operative methodology of the market economy includes the principles of system, openness, dialectics and the combination of motives and interests. Due to the uniqueness of market in the human world, the market rules are autonomic, and the most important one is the law of value, which is the mechanism of turning the individual motive into the interest of the whole. The market signifies its subject, normalizes human behaviors and controls surplus power. But the market does not have the ideological properties. Therefore it makes no sense to argue whether the market should be termed capitalist or socialist.
