Abstract
The different exploration of TCM and western medicine to the concept, diagnosis and treatment of constipation were put forward in this article,and also their respective advantages based on clinical practice.It was pointed out that some questions widely existed in nowday's treatment of constipation,and the authors' opinions about it were given.
