Abstract

Based on the continual monitoring data of red tide from 2002 to 2004 in the center and south coastal area of Zhejiang,the result showed that the red tide frequently occurred from April to July every year,in recent years the trend of scale and frequency rises.Nearby Nanji Archipelago we monitored a little scale red tide attend by Alexandrium catenella in May,2003.Major red tide plankton is Prorocentrum dentatum.
