Abstract

Purpose To detect the expression and significance of CK7,TTF-1,Napsin A,CK5 /6 and p63 in biopsy specimen of non-small cell lung cancer( NSCLC). Methods The expression of CK7,TTF-1,Napsin A,CK5 /6 and p63 was detected by immunohistochemical SP method in 100 NSCLC of biopsy specimen,and the clinical pathological features of NSCLC were analyzed statistically. Results The positive rates of CK7,TTF-1 and Napsin A were 98. 5%( 67 /68),92. 6 %( 63 /68) and 97. 1%( 66 /68) in 68 cases of lung adenocarcinoma,respectively,which was higher than CK5 /6 [7. 3%( 5 /68) and p63 8. 8%( 6 /68) ]( P 0. 05),respectively. The positive rates of CK5 /6 and p63 were 96.9%( 31 /32) and 93. 8%( 30 /32) in 38 cases of lung squamous cell carcinoma,which was higher than CK7,TTF-1 and Napsin A [28. 1%( 9 /32),9. 4%( 3 /32) and 3. 1%( 1 /32) ]( P 0. 05),respectively. Both showed significant increasing gradient. Conclusion CK7,TTF-1,Napsin A,CK5 /6 and p63 expressions show important significance at the differential diagnosis between lung adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma in biopsy specimen.
