Abstract
Compared with traditional technology for recovery of soils polluted by heavy metals, phytoremediation technology has better economic and environmental benefit, but it has some deficiencies such as low biomass and low growth rate of plants. Recently, transgenic engineering has been applied to phytoremediation and made some results, which opens up new possibilities for phytoremediation of contaminated soil by heavy metals. This paper importantly describes the achivements , the questions needed solving, the good applying prospects of transgenic engineering in phytoremediation, etc.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
