Abstract
The ellipsoid positioning in the new Kunming coordinate system is introduced in this paper,and its relationship with the national geodetic datum is analyzed.The coordinate azimuth in the system is studied.Three representative elevations of coordinate system is used to calculate the variation of azimuth with 80 Xi'an coordinate system.Through research shows that the in a certain area the azimuth is equivalent with the national coordinate system,and can meet all kinds of construction control measurement requirements.
