Abstract
Columbus' action might be divided into epochal action and individual action . When he fulfilled epochal action, he indicated to some extent certain limitation, but it was caused by the period. However, his epochal action indicated the direction of history development.When he fulfilled individual action ,he became very complicated, and ought to be analysized specially: some of his actions were positive, and some, negative.
