Abstract
Through understanding both characteristics of scientific socialism and democratic socialism and analyzing their differences and relations, it can be concluded that China, while adhering to and developing scientific socialism, should refer to and absorb the useful achievements of democratic socialism in order to achieve the glorious objective of China's socialist modernization.
