Abstract
The combined techniques of ferric-carbon microelectrolysis and Fenton reagent for treating high concentration and refractory organic wastewater were studied. Results show that when the COD in influent is 9 000 mg/L,the reaction time for the micro-electrolysis is approximately 100 min and pH is 2.2,the removal rate of COD is above 45%.When the dosage of H_2O_2(30%)is 240 mg/L and the reaction time is 50 minutes, the removal rate of COD is raised to above 75% in raw wastewater by Fenton reagent.Ferric-carbon micro-electrolysis and Fenton reagent techniques are highly efficient in removal of pollutants, stable in operation and low in cost, thus are suitable for treatment of high concentration and refractory organic wastewater.
