The universe and man being originally one——Harmonious view of things-persons relationship from Wang Yangming

On basis of concept of unity of heaven and man,Wang Yangming advocated idea of the universe and man being originally one.He further pointed out that everything stems from human mind whose essence is conscience and benevolence,and that coexistence between man and nature is both meaning of universe and perfection of personality.Wang’s idea of the universe and man being originally one emphasizes not only necessity of coordination between man and nature,but also inner possibility of this harmonious coordination,which,undoubtedly,plays a role in enhancing beliefs for today’s human beings facing a great eco-crisis.
